I spent my Saturday morning cleaning up a storm. I wanted to get a really good scrub finished before things picked up at school. We finished about 4pm and I sat down to check some work emails. I received a late email about a Tongan talent show/dance. There was going to be a potluck and fun. We decided to go and had so much fun dancing, eating and talking with new friends.
The encouraged everyone to get up and move! Georgia was all about it. She dragged me out for a few songs.
All 3 girls wanted to do the Macarena.
Macarena wasn't so popular with the crowd.
Cha-Cha slide. I can't believe Georgia kept up with them.
They did a great job of dancing.
She wanted her Daddy to dance with her.
This young lady did a beautiful dance. People give the dancers money to honor their dance. We enjoyed watching the show.
We were given sandwiches, cakes and wonderful drinks. The drink was sweet with shreds of coconut and apple in it. My favorite was the sweet coconut dumplings.
Georgia wanted to back it up with the girls on the side.
Large group of adults performing.
Last dance.
Last dance for us. It was 9pm and there were more groups set to perform. We just couldn't stay awake. We wake up between 5-6am. I feel old saying that 9pm makes me tired.
