First day of school left empowering and positive. Last year I didn’t feel as prepared to start the new year. This year I had a plan and checklist of items to accomplish. My favorite memory from the first day was my jar of “sea lice.” It was actually a jar of 7-up and raisins. It was fun to get the kids interested and laughing about science.
The next few days, we jumped right into scientific method. Here’s some pictures of the example we used to explain it. Kids forget that they follow the model without thinking about it.
Update on finger…. scab is still there, but getting smaller. Unable to do most things with my middle finger. I’m at almost 2 months since it happened. No signs of infection yet.
